“I’m not deaf and dumb just because I’m blind”. My friend, Diane told me in her frustration with people who raised their voices or spoke to her as if she were a child.

Have we lost our vision of God’s ability…to will and to do? Or, did we ever have it?

Even when we groan with Moses, “I’m not able;” (Numbers 11:14) there comes a resounding answer from Paul,

“But God is able.” (2 Corinthians 9:8)

It is only when we come to the end of our own ability that we realize in full surrender that we were never able in the first place, nor should the vision be ours, but His.

Lord, You are worthy…and able! (Romans 4:21)

have it?
