CRYSTAL CLEAR

“And he pointed out to me a river of pure Water of Life, clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and the Lamb.”

(Revelation 22:1, TLB)

Water walking replaced my first love of swimming recently. An Aqua-jogger braces my back and helps flotation in deeper water. Chemicals clean the new lap pool at our gym.

One of the characteristics of the Water of Life is it’s pure crystal clarity. No chemistry substances needed.

As I’m water walking, the symbolism of the Living Water washes over me. Jesus is the Living Water; The Holy Spirit flows from the throne of God and the Lamb to fill me with life for fruit bearing.

LOOK, It’s CRYSTAL CLEAR!

Abba, Father, Giver of the River, I want to swim, not wade in Your Living Water. Thank you for life giving water. I answer your bidding to “Come” (Isaiah 55:1-2). You tell me it’s free, it’s satisfying and it gives spiritual life to all who will draw near.

(Today, to start your week, I encourage you to read Revelation 22:1-5 and Ezekiel 47:1-9 and discover once again the significance of The River of Life).
